The weekend closest to May 15th celebrates the Pilgrimage of Saint Isidore the Laborer near the Piedra Aguda Reservoir. A few days before, you can visit these places where you can appreciate the great atmosphere generated by this festival. The day before, the procession with the saint and decorated floats and pilgrims starts from the church esplanade, to accompany him to his hermitage at the reservoir and celebrate mass the following day. Near the hermitage, many booths are set up where the day is celebrated. This pilgrimage is one of the best in the area as it attracts not only the people from Valverde but also neighbors from surrounding towns.
