The Valverde Pop Music Festival, FEVALPOP, is a music festival where musical groups from the current national and regional scene come together. It is held in mid-July and is completely free. The performances and the main stage are located in the Plaza de las Piletas. Since its first edition in 2004, this musical event has been growing in participation of bands and audience, not only from the locality but also from the neighboring municipalities to Valverde de Leganés. The festival has featured nationally and internationally renowned groups such as La Guardia, La Frontera, Señor Trepador, José El Francés, Kiko y Shara, El Desván del Duende, Soraya Arnelas, Hueco, Henry Méndez, and Sergio Contreras.
