The Bartolos have established themselves as one of the most important festivals for this municipality, being an essential date for the people of Valverde. It begins with the opening of the Magical Market. Later, in the Plaza de la Constitución, this unique festival is celebrated where groups of young and old display in the booths they have previously set up, their "Bartolos" and their tastings for all the attending public to try the food and observe the difficulty and quality of the work done. The Bartolos are dolls or figures related to the theme chosen each year and serve as protection against the imminent Escape of the She-Devil. The jury will choose the winning doll, and it will be spared from being destroyed by the evil beings that 'The She-Devil' will send the following weekend. During the evening, the event is accompanied by a music and dance show with entertainers, in which all attendees participate.
