The route begins on Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente street, behind the Town Hall, which we will follow until we leave the town and reach the river at the place called Molino del Duque, named after the old flour mill built there in 1509 by the Duke of Alburquerque. At this point, the waters of the Gévora River are joined by those of the Codosero Stream.
To continue the route, we must cross both riverbeds, but before that, it is recommended to walk along the banks in order to soak up the greenery, the sounds, and the freshness of the characteristic gallery forest of this upper stretch of the Gévora.
After enjoying this magnificent spot, we will continue the route through fertile orchards, grasslands, and scrubland areas along a path that runs parallel to the river, and we can return to it by taking some of the paths that appear on our left.
Finally, we will arrive at the Natural Pools, where we will once again enter the gallery forest. There, if the temperature allows, we can take a good dip and enjoy this municipal recreational area.
