The dam of the small La Pretura Reservoir is the starting and ending point of this route, which offers the possibility of enjoying the landscape of four ecosystems in just under four kilometers: wetland, pasture, mountain range, and Mediterranean forest and scrubland. The route begins next to the Guadalemar River, where it meets the La Pretura Route coming from Fuenlabrada de los Montes. From this point, we head along the right bank of the Guadalemar River to the La Pretura dam, and without leaving this bank, we continue along the trail between the reservoir to the right and the 500-meter contour to our left. At kilometer 2.4, we cross the Guadalemar River, turn right, and now continue along the left bank of the reservoir until we reach the dam. We cross it and can observe from its crown the La Pretura recreational area and the botanical trail to the left, and the reservoir to our right. We continue along the same trail until we reach the La Pretura parking area, where we can rest in the recreation area or continue to our starting point to finish the route.
