This is about taking a walk through the main monuments of Olivenza. Since they are all concentrated next to the medieval citadel, the route is short, without architectural barriers, and lasts about two hours. The route begins with an introduction at the Tourist Office and Visitor Reception Center of Alqueva (Convent of S. Juan de Dios). From there, you head to the Alconchel gate of the medieval wall and visit the monuments in the following order: Chapel of the Holy Spirit of the Casa de Misericordia, Manueline door of the town hall, Manueline church of La Magdalena, Church of Santa Mª del Castillo, Ethnographic Museum/Castle, and Paper Craft Museum.
