We start the route in the Southeast area of Higuera la Real, where we find the Hermitage of Nª Sra. del Socorro, located in the square that bears the same name. We continue towards the East where we will come across a junction with two dirt roads, we will take the left one. We will reach a widening where we will continue towards our right, we will come across the 'Fuente de Gargallón' whose spring supplies the stream and the mills that run through it. We continue our path and on our right we begin to observe the irrigation ditches through which the water flowed to the mills, and turning right at the first path we continue parallel to the ditch that leads to 'Mill nº1'. We continue along a narrow path that will lead us directly to 'Mill nº2' located at a crossroads, we will have to continue straight ahead (south). At the next crossroads we will turn right, and we will arrive at the gates of 'Huerta Rosil, Mill nº4'. It is here where our path enters the ravine area, which has a kind of raised stone sidewalk on its right bank to be able to walk along it in rainy season since water runs through it. Venturing into the shade of the area, we will have to always continue along the stone sidewalk and pass under a metal bridge. This stretch will take us next to two mills, just at the exit of said ravine. We will continue south in this stretch, much more open and elevated above the stream where there is a greater field of vision of the natural environment. Later, at another intersection of paths, we must turn left (south), here the ground is cement, we begin to descend to the Álamo River. This area runs past the rest of the mills that can be seen to the left of our route, also to the right we can see the back of the Hermitage of Ntra. Sra. de las Nieves located on a higher slope than the road in a private estate. We will arrive at 'Mill nº22' located next to the bridge of the Álamo River; we cross this bridge and access the estate located next to the river to the right of our route (we must be very cautious because inside the estate there are fighting bulls). The path we will travel on is a public path, we will continue along it without taking any detours and we will open the gates we find, always being careful to close them again. Once we come across a circular stone construction, we will continue straight ahead and in approximately 300 m, we will leave the path to our right, where we will see a fence that gives access to the 'Yacimiento de Capote'; to access the interior, we will continue along the fence to our right where there will finally be a gate through which we will enter the estate. We will climb to the top of the mountain and we will be able to observe the excavations of the 'Yacimiento de Capote'.
