We start the route at Plaza de España and, taking Cristóbal Colón street, we leave the town by the Segura de León Road (paved road), which we walk for 500 meters until we take the first left turn, leaving the Pilar del Navazo on the right. After 100 meters, we find a fork and take the left branch again. We ignore other paths that lead off to both sides and after a gentle ascent, there are panoramic views of the Sierra de Tentudía and the neighboring town of Cabeza la Vaca, which will accompany us throughout the route. During this walk, we encounter very diverse landscapes, from small countryside plots with a great diversity of flora (fig trees, olive trees, cork oaks, pine trees, almond trees, holm oaks, and even a couple of eucalyptus trees) to areas where sandy soil and large granite rocks abound, giving it a sometimes semi-desert aspect. Once we have descended a steep slope, we can see on our left the Fuente “la Multa”, a small spring with a stone well that can go unnoticed if its exact location is not known. We continue with a pronounced ascent, at the end of which we contemplate beautiful views, and take the curve that the path makes to the right, ignoring the branches to the left; then we enjoy a flat stretch, but not for long, as we have another ascent, this time with a concrete surface; after passing it, we leave charcoal kilns on our right and a little further on we begin to see the town with the church tower in the background. We descend to the El Navazo industrial estate and join the Segura Road, retracing our steps back to Plaza de España, thus ending the route.
