The route begins at the back of the Tentudía Service Station, where we take the Monesterio Path that will lead us through holm oak groves to La Pantaneta. In this beautiful area with riverside vegetation, the Bodión River forms a small lagoon that fills up during the rainy season and is visited by waterfowl, storks, and other animal species. There is also a picnic area to take a break along the way. We backtrack 100 meters and begin to ascend, passing by the facilities of the Tentudía Reservoir purification plant and continue the ascent until we reach the dam (panoramic view of the entire reservoir as well as the Sierra de Tentudía). After passing the dam, we will take the old road that turns left and we will skirt the reservoir, leaving the Cortijo de Rebollo to our right. We continue along it until we cross the EX-103 and at this point we can see the well-known Pilar de Joselana. Finally, we advance along a small path that runs parallel to the road, reaching the top of Puerto Rico and from here, through a wide avenue, we reach the end of our route again in Calera de León.
