The route begins at the Cheles pier facilities where tourist activity companies in the area offer services to enjoy this natural environment by water, land, and air, classified as a Special Conservation Zone (ZEC) for the International Guadiana River. It heads towards Cheles, crossing the town in a northerly direction. At 1.2 km, it leaves the company of the Guadiana Nature Trail for 18 kilometers, the only part of the route not coinciding with this infrastructure. The route passes through a hilly plain, first among farmland and scattered olive groves with patches of shrubland, which then transform into a dense pasture in excellent condition and conservation. This landscape accompanies the entire route, passing through several farms dedicated mainly to livestock farming, especially pig farming, which reaches its best expression through the acorns provided by the pasture and serves as their food during the montanera season.
