The route starts at the Interpretation Center of the Birds of the Province of Badajoz, located in the 'dehesa boyal' of La Roca de la Sierra, two kilometers from the town. It is accessed from the EX-214 road towards Nava de Santiago.
From the interpretation center, the route ascends along the Cordobilla path towards the Manchal mountain range, passing through the Casillas pass towards the Luriana mountain range. From there, it heads to Puebla de Obando, where it joins the route of the Natural Corridor Cáceres-Badajoz, ascending to the El Zángano pass, the highest point of the route, to cross the San Pedro mountain range until taking the San Vicente path, descending to reach La Roca de la Sierra, which it crosses to return to the interpretation center.
