It is located about 2 km from the town and corresponds to a landscape with Mediterranean vegetation with an abundant proliferation of batholiths. This area has been continuously occupied with the breeding of pigs and goats, with architectural evidence of these practices still existing today: pens, huts, and land divisions. The most impressive part of the place are the batholiths themselves, which have taken on very striking forms. One of them is known as the "Piedra del Niño Dios" from where the entire region of the Llanos de Olivenza can be viewed. For several centuries, this area was also used as a quarry, likely for the buildings in Valverde de Leganés. ----- Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wGFQpqM7VTtRZ8G96
