This route begins in the most historic surroundings of the Town. It includes the Castle and the Menhir of Fuente de Abajo. From the Castle, we will take La Albuera street, which ends connecting with the track of Camino de las Mayas. At the beginning of this track, there is a sign announcing the Local Trail. This track gradually descends in its first kilometer, passing by the Casa Huerta de Salguero, characterized by a complex of house, gazebo, palm grove, and blood-driven waterwheel. At the end of the paved track, the stream of Las Calles often splashes the path, before starting to ascend towards the area of Monte Agudo. Here the paved track turns into a dirt road in search of the Collada del Monte Agudo, the highest point of our route. Up to the Collada del Monte Agudo, we have been ascending gently from the crossing of the Arroyo de las Calles, and from here we will descend towards the Cortijo del Torno and continue to the bank of the Ardila. Descending our path, we will encounter a set of corral and whitewashed bujarda with a chimney on the slope descending towards the Cortijo del Torno. And below the cortijo, the facilities of the Water Treatment Plant and a group of large eucalyptus trees, which serve as a home to storks and other birds. We pass by the Cortijo del Torno and continue descending until we reach the stream of the Cueva de la Mora, from where we will turn left through the area between the wall of the Torno and the bank of the stream of the Cueva de la Mora until reaching the bank of the river Ardila. Once on the bank of the Ardila, on the left, we will go up the river towards the Menhir del Lagarto and continue ascending the river, passing by the centenary Eucalyptus trees and the Water Treatment Plant, until reaching the road to Fregenal below the Dam. We cross the bridge of the road and immediately enter, on the left, the left bank of the Reservoir, which we travel along the water on a barely marked path, but without difficulty, until the Pasaderas del Vado Lima. Crossing the Pasaderas del Vado Lima, we will ascend through the Pelá to the Recreational Area of the Pelá, popularly known as the Tanga, and by the road, we will approach the streets of the Town, completing this circular route.
