The art around the clay shaped in social, cultural and economic terms this entire territory, that extends today to the municipality of Vila Verde. It is also woth to mention the connection of pottery and the pottery activity to the traditional and ancient weekly open-air market, that further emphasizes the historical and cultural importance of this craftsmanship.
