It is a healthcare center affiliated with the Health Service of Castilla-La Mancha. It is one of the most important and avant-garde hospitals in the region. It was inaugurated on January 25, 1982. It serves the entire province of Guadalajara and for this purpose, it has two specialty centers in Azuqueca de Henares and Molina de Aragón. Since 2009, the expansion of the hospital on an adjacent plot has been underway to meet the population increase.
