We do not always travel on high-speed trains. And this museum wants to remind us of the beginnings of this means of transport using the Alcoy-Gandia line as a common thread. Objects, photographs, plans and all kinds of objects about that English company, the 'Alcoy and Gandia Railway and Harbour Cº Ltd', which later became more familiar with a new name: 'Ferrocarriles de Alcoy a Gandia y Puerto de Gandia' (Railways from Alcoy to Gandia and Gandia Harbour).

It was maintained for 77 years and an association, 'Amigos del tren Alcoy-Gandia', wanted to remember the enormous influence it had on the life of the neighbours of the region, or how it facilitated trade.
