The industrial chimneys were both elements that were part of the factory complex and the symbol of a society dedicated to industry. They appeared with a specific function: to evacuate the smoke or gases generated by the furnaces of the factories or steam engines into the atmosphere. La Roda preserves three chimneys, all of them belonging to former brick factories and distilleries.
