Villasviejas del Tamuja is one of the most monumental and representative cases of the phenomenon of pre-Roman castros. This is largely due to the extensive trajectory of systematic studies carried out at the site, which continue to be relevant through new research projects.

The Center has collaborated with the Institute of Archaeology-Mérida in the preparation of the contents, incorporating the most recent results of the research being conducted there.

This permanent exhibition space complements the visit to the archaeological site and aids in the interpretation of the enclave.
The visit is conducted by municipal staff, by prior appointment of time and day, at the municipal phone number, during regular hours.
