The route begins at the information panel located next to the entrance of the "Fuentes del Salor" complex. We take the street that goes up to the right and after traveling 100 meters, the asphalt turns into a path; at the fork, the directional arrow indicates the direction to follow.
We continue to the right towards the south, sharing the route with the trails PR-CC 27 "Ruta de los Molinos", PR-CC 28 "Ruta de la Vaqueriza", and SL-CC 6 "El Castañar". After traveling 700 meters, at the fork, the Local Trails separate to the left and the Short Distance Trails to the right.
We head towards the chestnut grove and after another 700 meters, the directional arrows indicate that we are separating from the trail SL-CC 6 "El Castañar". Along a beautiful trail that turns towards the east, we travel the upper part of the Garganta de los Molinos, obtaining unbeatable views of it. We reach the upper part of one of the gullies that feed the gorge, at a crossroads we turn left and head north, after traveling 1.3 km we reach the turnoff that takes us up to the antennas on Pico Montánchez (994 m.) and to the "Cancho que se menea". Attention: this turnoff is not signposted, as it is not part of the approved trail. At the entrance to the turnoff, it is indicated that it is private property and that directions should be followed to climb to the rock.
If we follow the marked itinerary, about 100 meters ahead of the turnoff there is an intersection of paths and our route makes a sharp change of direction to the left. In this section, we travel through the vineyards of this small plain located at the highest elevations of the mountain range. Almost without realizing it, we will enter the dense chestnut-oak wood located on the shady side. Descending along a beautiful trail, we arrive at the path we traveled in the first meters of the route and which takes us back to the starting point of the same.
