The route begins at the information panel located next to the entrance of the "Fuentes del Salor" complex. We take the street that goes up to the right and after traveling 100 meters the asphalt turns into a path, at the fork the directional arrow indicates the direction to follow.

We continue to the right towards the south sharing the itinerary with the trails PR-CC 27 "Ruta de los Molinos", PR-CC 28 "Ruta de la Vaqueriza" and SL-CC 5 "Ruta de donde nace". After traveling 700 meters, at the fork, the Local Trails separate by the left path and the Short Distance Trails by the right path.

We head towards the chestnut grove and after another 700 meters the directional arrows indicate that we are separating from the trail SL-CC 5 "Ruta de donde nace". We turn to the right on a path that enters the chestnut grove. Here we can enjoy the magnificent changing spectacle offered by the chestnut forest throughout the year, giving us the feeling of visiting a different route in each season we visit it. We will appreciate the changes with all our senses: our sight will be filled with yellows, greens, reds, or grays; our hearing will delight in the symphonies performed by different birds of the forest.

After 700 meters we exit to the path of the vaquerizas to turn right towards the north and begin the return to Montánchez. In this last section, we share the last 1.2 km of the itinerary with the trails PR-CC 27 "Ruta de los Molinos" and PR-CC 28 "Ruta de la Vaqueriza" until we reach the same point where we started the route.
