Of note are the spectacular lantern cupola with the rich Baroque plasterwork decoration of the convent church interior and the 18th-century high altar, with sculptures by Tomás de Sierra.
This church also has the statue of Our Father Jesus of the Sentence, carved by Ventura Gómez Rodríguez in 2011. The procession of the Sentence marks the beginning of Easter in Palencia, on the Friday before Palm Sunday.
