It is a municipality and Spanish city, capital of the Autonomous Community of Navarre. Pamplona is located in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, and in the center of the Pamplona basin. It extends on both banks of the Arga River and is crossed by two other rivers, the Elorz and the Sadar.
