Bejes is a beautiful village in Cantabria belonging to the region of Liébana. It is located in a privileged natural environment, being the starting point for a large number of hiking routes, most of them in the Ándara massif, in the heart of the Picos de Europa.
The town is well known for its cheeses, such as the famous Picón cheese. Despite its small size, it has an interesting historical heritage, including works such as the Church of Santa María or the Monument to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, located at the top of Pico San Carlos.
