Bunkers Park

The memory space and Interpretation Center of the Bunkers Park of Martinet and Montellà was created with the intention of making known an element of recent history that has been completely unknown until now, the Pyrenees defense line, popularly known as the "P line" or Gutiérrez line, a monumental work built during the forties, an impressive defense line that has long been surrounded by military secrecy.

The Bunkers Park center is designed as a place to experience and understand a time of wars, intended to be visited accompanied by a guide for much of the tour. The visit is structured in three parts: Through an innovative museographic assembly, based on different audiovisuals, the visit begins to provide the visitor with the keys to understand the historical context.

Once the audiovisual is finished, the visitor is equipped with a helmet and a flashlight to undertake a well-signposted and adapted route that runs along a mountain path, during which it is possible to visit a total of eight recovered fortifications of different types: combat points, artillery points... and even enter a network of interconnected underground galleries.
