Collegiate Church

It was originally built around the 14th century as the Parish Church of Villa Calatrava. It received additions and details, such as the north facade which was built in late 15th century Gothic style, and finally the large expansion of the aisles and the transept in the first half of the 17th century, promoted by Archbishop Fray Pedro González de Mendoza, son of the first dukes of Pastrana. Its interior houses the magnificent Parish Museum, very rich in content, highlighting the collection of Gothic tapestries of Alfonso V of Portugal.
