Castronuño is one of the main tourist destinations in Castilla y León. It is located in the heart of the Castronuño - Vega del Duero Natural Reserve, the only natural reserve in the province of Valladolid.
The meander formed by the Duero River as it passes through Castronuño defines the spectacular silhouette of a town immersed in nature. From the different viewpoints located along the paths, the core of the reserve can be seen.
Looking out from the viewpoint of Parque de la Muela allows you to discover the greenest and most humid views of the area, in contrast to the yellowish tones of the dryland that usually characterize the Castilian landscape.
The Church of Santa María del Castillo, from the 13th century, which dominates the course of the Duero, stands out for its heritage value. It is a late Romanesque jewel with Gothic influences, declared a historical-artistic monument (B.I.C) in 1962.
