The Balaídos Stadium, named Abanca-Balaídos for sponsorship reasons, is a sports facility owned by the municipality, located in the city of Vigo, Spain. It hosts the home games of the first team of Real Club Celta de Vigo. It was inaugurated on December 30, 1928, and has a seating capacity of 29,000 spectators. It was one of the seventeen venues for the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain, hosting three matches. Additionally, it has hosted seven matches of the Spanish national team.
