The Royal Palace of La Magdalena is located on the Magdalena Peninsula, opposite the island of Mouro, and was built between 1909 and 1911, through popular subscription, to accommodate the Spanish royal family. It was designed by the architects Javier González Riancho and Gonzalo Bringas Vega.
