Civil building

In Viso del Marqués, Ciudad Real, you can find the Palace of the Marquises of Santa Cruz, built between 1564 and 1588 by Italian artists selected by Don Álvaro de Bazán. The building houses the Archive-Museum of the Navy. Its exterior appearance does not relate to the artistic richness of the interior of the building.
