Palacio de los Condes de Guadiana. Classified as a 2nd degree building in the PEPCH. From the 16th-18th centuries. Currently houses a hotel. Its tower stands out above all, conceived as a pinnacle for Calle Real, one of the most important streets of the time, and of our days. Vital axis of commerce and urban transit where the Toledo gate was located. It contains interesting houses from the 19th and 20th centuries, and is the main access route to the old town of the city. In the palace tower, traditional elements are combined with others of Flemish origin. Ostentatious and propagandistic in character, with great decorative elements and abundant heraldry. This family uses the tower symbol as a distinctive of their class and a reminder of their lineage, in an allegory of the defensive towers of the castles. Two elements of the architecture of Andrés de Vandelvira stand out in it; the corner balconies with Doric marble columns as mainel and the attic on which a triple arcade opens.
