Mendizorroza Stadium

Mendizorroza Stadium is a football stadium in the city of Vitoria (Álava, Spain), located in the neighborhood of Mendizorroza. Owned by the municipality, it is the home ground of Deportivo Alavés, which plays in LaLiga Santander of Spanish football. It was inaugurated on April 27, 1924 (95 years ago), the eve of San Prudencio, the patron saint of Álava, making it the third oldest stadium among LFP clubs that have not changed location since their inauguration, surpassed only by El Molinón and Mestalla. The stadium has undergone several renovations, with the most recent and significant one taking place in the 1998/99 season after Alavés' third promotion to La Liga, closing the stadium's corners and leaving it with a capacity for 19,840 spectators.
