The route begins at the information panel located next to the entrance of the "Fuentes del Salor" complex.

We take the street that goes up to the right and after traveling 100 meters the asphalt turns into a path, at the fork the directional arrow indicates the direction to follow: if we take the path on the left we will do the route in the proposed direction of the march, if we take the path on the right (by the proposed direction) we head south by the path of the Vaquerizas where we share the itinerary with the PR-CC 27 "Ruta de los Molinos".

At kilometer 2.5, the directional arrows indicate that both paths separate. We continue on the left by a path that offers unbeatable views of the Garganta de los Molinos. After a kilometer, the path makes a sharp turn to the left, heading east, towards the area that gives the route its name: "Las Vaquerizas". The path runs along the southern slope of the Sierra de Montánchez.

After traveling 2.6 km, we turn left towards the north, we overcome a pass and after a quick descent by path we enter a beautiful trail that runs through the area of "La Quebrada", winds up to climb the "Barrera del Hinojal" and we reach the pass of "Cuarto de los Baldasquillos".

We descend by a concrete path to the CC-160 road and join the road to the left, we travel a few meters to take the path that goes out to the right where we cross the area of "El Robledo", some directional arrows indicate that we share the itinerary with the PR-CC 29 "Ruta del Robledo".

We cross the CC-160 road again, here we separate from the Ruta del Robledo and by the mountain path, after traveling 2.1 km through alleys with multiple crossings, we arrive at Montánchez.
